Candidate packets are now available for download below, for the 2014 Altadena Town Council Census Tract Representative Elections.

One seat in each of the 8 census tracts of Altadena is up for election. Election Day is June 7th, 2014, at polling places through-out Altadena to be announced soon, with Early Voting available on June 3rd, 2014, at the Altadena Community Center. More announcements on poling places and times will be made as we get closer to the date.

Below, interested candidates can download the complete Candidate Package, which includes the Candidate Information page, the official 2014 Election Rules, and the official Application for Candidacy form. Candidate Applications MUST be turned in to the Altadena Community Center no later than 4:30pm on May 16th, 2014.

Interested parties may also download the individual parts of the 2014 Candidate Package at the appropriate links below. Potential Candidates are also asked to download and read the Council By-laws and Ethical Standards, available at the links on the left side of the main page.

PLEASE NOTE, There are two typos in the Information Page contained in the full Candidate Package: 1-the time of the deadline to submit is listed twice as 5pm. This should read 4:30pm, as is set forward in the Election Rules. 2-the contact for questions is given as the council chair, Diane Marcussen. This should read the chair of the election committee, Amy Cienfuegos. These errors have been corrected in the individual information page, but to avoid any confusion it has been agreed that the later time will be acceptable.
