Monday Updates: Outage Figures Updated Again by Edison

The latest Monday storm updates.

How Many Outages in Altadena (10:30 p.m.): SoCal Edison public relations has tweeted there are now 649 outages as of 9:30 p.m.  We've asked them about the accuracy of the numbers considering the 4,040 figure that was released several hours earlier.

Altadena Outages Up to 4,040: There are 4,040 power outages in Altadena as of Monday night, according to David Song of the SoCal Edison utility.  That might seem a little unusual, considering we reported yesterday that there were only 1,600 outages and only 2,100 on Saturday.

Song said he could not definitely confirm whether there are more outages now in Altadena than there were on Sunday or Saturday or whether the information given on Saturday or Sunday was wrong, but he said his answer from the field as of Monday evening was that there are 4,040 outages in Altadena.
