Watch Palm Street School Meeting Online

The County Regional Planning Commission's meeting on a proposed private high school on Palm Street starts at 9 a.m. Wednesday morning and can be viewed online.

A county meeting taking place in downtown Los Angeles abnout proposed private high school on Palm Street can be viewed online started at 9 a.m. this morning.

The County's Regional Planning Commission will be discussing a planned private high school at 183 E. Palm Street, which was proposed by the founder of Arcadia's Arroyo Pacific Academy.  The project would require a majority-vote from the commission to be authorized.

The department's staff report for that hearing suggests the commission vote against it, calling the project "incompatible with the surrounding neighborhood pattern" and said it would affect the "health, peace, comfort, or welfare" of people living near the project.
