Designing Your Life, PART II with Allan Wasserman at Altadena Library

Designing Your Life, PART II with Allan Wasserman at Altadena Library

Do you have dreams of accomplishment waiting inside for that someday when you will have more time, energy, or can decide just what it is you really want?  Perhaps you would like to try out a new skill such as acting, writing, or playing an instrument. Or maybe it’s weight lifting, a new career, or foreign language that is calling?  Where and how do you begin?

If this is the case, one great place to start is by attending a presentation at Altadena Library on Monday, October 10 at 7 p.m. by local modern day Renaissance man Allan Wasserman, entitled “Designing Your Life, Part II.”  What sets this event apart from other inspirational talks is the opportunity for connecting with others who may have just the experience and skills you are looking for.  Last June Allan gave a beginning workshop on this topic which proved so successful the participants clamored for more.  The program will start with a summary from Part I and lead you even further on the path to your dreams.

Although many Altadenans know him as a long time Town Council member, Allan also balances a number of professions along with his government duties, each of which most would consider full-time careers.

Allan has won awards for his writing, had parts on such television series as Boston Legal, The Sopranos, and The Office, received outstanding reviews for his stage roles, and acted in many well known films for over twenty-five years.

Besides all this, he plays sax with the Allan Wasserman Jazz Ensemble at venues throughout Los Angeles County and has a job as a stock broker, and recently added motivational speaker to his resume. Come see how he does it all and how you can too!

This free program is sponsored by the Friends of the Altadena Library.
