Part two in a series of workshops hosted by Altadena Heritage on the urban forest, this event focuses on how to manage trees in an urban environment.'
The event will include discussion on preventing tree loss during storms, proper tree selection for planting, pruning, and tree maintanence.
Frank McDonough, of the Los Angeles County Arboretrum and Botanical Garden will be the speaker.
The event is free for Altadena Heritage members, and $5 for non-members.
