Pasadena Unified Board Meeting Preview
A preview of items to be discussed at the Oct. 31 meeting.
1. Approval of Revisions to Board Policy 5142.2 - Safe Routes to School Program
The school board will consider revisions to the district's Safe Routes to School Program.
2. Approval of Revisions to Board Policy 5131.2 - Bullying
The school board will consider revisions to the district's bullying policy. Changes would mostly be done to comply with the uniform complaint procedures established by the California Department of Education.
3. Ratification - Approval of Contract for Cooperative Agreement between the Regents of the University of California/Puente Project and Pasadena Unified School District [BR 32-B]
Officials are considering approving an agreement to implement the Puente Project, which aims to increase the number of economically disadvantaged teens in four-year schools, have them earn degrees so that they return as leaders to the community.
