The Pasadena Unified School District will present two events Tuesday, May 20:
At 5:30 p.m., "I Am a Fine Musician" — the first documentary to focus on the educational theory behind the school district's Verdugo Young Musicians Association Music Project at Longfellow Elementary ‚— will debut at the Pasadena Laemmle Playhouse 7, 673 E. Colorado Blvd. The screening will benefit the VYMA and will feature a performance by VYMA students and appearances by experts interviewed in the film.
And at 6 p.m., the school district's Board Master Plan/Boundary Subcommittee will meet and accept public input on potential school attendance boundaries. The meeting will be held at the PUSD Education Center, Lower Level Conference Room, 351 S. Hudson Ave.
